I should have bought land in New Amsterdam
I have lived in NYC my entire life. I have seen neighborhoods , businesses and people come and go. The parts of NYC that make us great are the people, the businesses, the buildings, the parks, and the quiet hidden streets that make our communities. The tour started because friends and visitors would see the passion when I walked them through the neighborhood. "You should really do this for a living" Not because I memorized dates and places, but because I tell a story the way a New Yorker does. I tell through memory, humor, observation, and experience.

Why the West Village is home
The Village is the only tour I walk because I love the neighborhood and I live here. This isn't a job. There are no umbrellas in the air; this is my neighborhood. I want people to feel the charm and the history that makes this place so special. It's about experiencing the true essence of the village and New York, not just seeing it.
